CAMBRIDGE, MA, Jun. 21 - An information first reported Sunday, in the
Boston-Haitian American community, by the new Boston-based online
magazine, Jeunehaiti.com, a Haiti native Roman Catholic priest, Father Gabriel
Michel, whose parish, St. Angela Merici Church, is in the Mattapan section of Boston,
where the percentage of residents who are of Haitian descent is
calculated to be approximately 15 percent of the total population, has seen its
faculties revoked to perform public ministry.

The announcement was made Sunday after the Boston's Archdiocese entered
possession of electronic correspondences between the priest, who arrived in
Boston, in 2002, from the Cap-Haitien Archdiocese, in Northern Haiti, and a few unidentified
adult female parishioners, permitting church authorities to further a long ago commenced official investigation,
with the help of a contracted privately-owned investigative firm,
in an effort to determine the veracity or truthfulness, if any, of the long rumored hidden dark side of the
man of God. That is, he has been
having consensual sexual intercourse with female Haitian churchgoers.
