AFFIDAVIT OF JEAN LAFORET

IN SUPPORT OF

PLAINTIFF'S iMOTION TO VACATE DEFAULT JUDGEMENT ON DEFENDANTS' COUNTERCLAIMS

I, JEAN LAFORET, hereby swear and depose under oath that the following statements are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and my ability to relate them. I offer these statements in support of the Plaintiffs' Motion to vacate the default judgment entered in the case.
    1. I am one of the plaintiffs in this case.
    2. I filed this case against the defendants because I truly believe that this country
      provides people with the full rights to justice under the law.
    3. I do not speak or write English enough to understand the legal procedures in the
      case. That is why I contributed to hire an interpreter to help me with the prior
      attorney who represented in the case.
    4. I trusted the prior attorney to handle the paper work and I always let him know
      my side of the story. I objected to all the claims the defendants made against me.
      I believed in good faith that the attorney had represented my views.
 
  1. If there is a mistake in filing my objection, I am not responsible for it.

  2. I am asking this Court to not hold me responsible for a mistake I did not commit;
    and, give me the opportunity to present my side of the issues raised by the
    defendants' claims.
